In South Africa, approximately 7 million girls miss school every month because they cannot afford sanitary products. This is a crisis made worse by the stigma and lack of education around menstruation. Period poverty doesn’t just steal days from the classroom; it robs young women from reaching their full potential.

As Team Green who are money experts who do good, we’re ensuring access to menstrual hygiene, breaking barriers to education and restoring dignity for young women in underserved communities.

You can get involved by donating to ‘period packs’ which will contain sanitary pads and a digital educational booklet.
